With an investment of 14,300 million pesos, the Metropolitan Police will equip itself with the Bodycam or body cameras presented by the mayor of Medellín, Federico Gutiérrez, to reinforce operations in the city center.
According to the magazine El Tiempo, the device given to each uniformed person permanently records full HD videos ( in real-time), audio, and geolocation. In this way, it will be possible to know the information stored by the agents, in the different control centers.
